A Runway of Insights: Designing Chanel's New Dashboards

Chanel's data team faced challenges around the absence of a cohesive design language for their dashboards. The look and feel of the dashboards is particularly important for a fashion brand like Chanel. One of the main issues they faced was lack of usage due to poor design and UX. The Chanel Client Data & Analytics team needed comprehensive support on UX, technical feasibility, UI and creative execution for their dashboards. Sauce Studio worked closely with team members across divisions to understand and address their needs.

Sauce Studio developed a dedicated design system for Chanel's Client Data & Analytics team that was adapted to work across all of the brand's divisions, each with their own unique guidelines. The new system brought cohesion and elevated the user experience while allowing flexibility for each division's distinct needs. We designed and implemented 8 dashboards using this system, which are now used by teams worldwide. The redesigned dashboards significantly enhanced usability, visual appeal, and accessibility of data insights.
